About the Role:

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance & Food Safety Specialist (Temporary - 11 months) who will be reporting to Plant Food Safety & Quality Manager and be based in İzmit.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Follow Quality Success Indicators and report the results periodically, take corrective actions when necessary
•    Ensure the analysis are suitable for the continuity of the ISO 17025 accreditation process
•    Ensure that verification and measurement uncertainty studies are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and legislation
•    Take part in the internal audit process; in planning and auditing stages
•    Ensure quality and technical documentations are up-to-date 
•    Ensure that activities related to Risks and Opportunities are carried out by laboratory
•    Contribute to the preparation and follow-up of training and internal audit plans
•    Prepare weekly plant and monthly KPI reports 
•    Analyze quality-related customer feedback and complaints and convey the results
•    Monitor food safety nonconformities and initiate necessary corrective actions

Who we are looking for:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering
•    Experience in related functions
•    Preferably SAP quality knowledge
•    MS Office knowledge
•    Solid written and verbal communication skills in Turkish, English is a plus
