About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQ in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for an External Operations Junior Project Manager to support the Third-Party Operations (3PO) to develop and grow consistently across initiatives related to product innovation via third-party manufacturing and new suppliers’ activation. 

Reporting to the PMO and Function Integration Manager, the role is key to enable the function growth and governance in the medium-long term. It contributes to the 3PO development and integration through processes improvement and by facilitating the sharing of best practices across the team and the geographies. It represents a pivot and entry point for the evaluation of new projects and initiatives.  

Main Responsibilities:

In terms of Process Improvement and Project Management, you will help identify overall areas of improvements and optimize existing processes where necessary, enabling change management. As the Junior Project Manager, you will support the improvement via gap assessments and team brainstorming while you will proactively propose and design new tools and procedures (protocols, IT and Digital solutions). You will enable cross-sharing among Local Teams across all geographies to identify common ways of working and best practices. In this role you will be the referent point for Information Technology development and Digitalization within the function. 

 

As the External Operations Junior Project Manager, you will support in enabling the correct Governance to ensure control and monitoring of the function at Central-Local level. You will contribute to the construction and maintenance of the Function Project Portfolio and Activity Plan and to the preparation of 3PO Monthly Board and Weekly Meetings agendas and contents. Furthermore, you will build, manage, and update Department Document and Data storage and information sharing across and outside the function while you will support in the leadership of team effectiveness initiatives to enable the team’s highest performance. In relation, you will develop Department KPIs in alignment with the Operations Dashboard and the function’s manager. 

 

With regard to Function Integration, in this role you will ensure visibility and alignment of 3PO activities towards external functions inside and outside of OPS and consistency of 3PO Data and Content sharing outside the function while contributing to the cascading of relevant Group initiatives to 3PO function. 

Who we are looking for:

You will bring a master’s degree in business or engineering and 1-3 years of experience in project management and/or process operations improvement roles in the FMCG. Previous experience in product manufacturing will help you meet your objectives faster. 

You have strong project management skills and you are comfortable in managing complexities with multiple variables. 

Your core skills should encompass strong analytical capabilities; while you are well known for your excellent interpersonal skills to deal professionally and effectively with senior management in English

Your problem-solving attitude as well as your high attention to details are essential traits.  

This role also demands a proactive attitude, and being results-oriented, curious to learn, able to balance and execute on many initiatives in parallel. 

Last but not least, you bring your strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and Microsoft Power BI.
