About the Role:

For our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for the Area North America Modern & Traditional Trade Development Manager to drive the growth of the Modern and Traditional Trade business and capabilities. As a key player in the Channel Development team, you will be in contact with business units on an international scale and will be a strategic partner with the local markets

Main Responsibilities:

Thanks to your role, you will be responsible for evaluating the potential within the Modern and Traditional Trade (MT&TT) channels across various regions. Collaborating closely with Central functions in SBD and Sales Managers in assigned markets, you will define channel development plans and identify optimal routes to market. Your tasks include implementing channel strategies and Category Development initiatives based on local and regional insights. Additionally, you'll work alongside markets to enhance specific channel capabilities, gather market needs, and establish relevant policies and procedures. Your coordination with assigned international customers will also contribute to shaping the future direction of the assigned markets in conjunction with the wider Sales Business Development team.

In this position, you will play a significant role in driving the development of MT&TT channels within the North America area. Your duties will involve assessing the potential of these channels in each region and collaborating closely with sales managers to devise effective development plans. You will spearhead the implementation of channel and category development initiatives, provide support to markets in their channel development endeavors, and facilitate collaborative relationships of our local teams with the international customers in the assigned Area. Furthermore, your role will entail gathering crucial market insights to inform the global SBD team while also sharing best practices with relevant stakeholders, including region managers, region sales, trade marketing, SBD area, SBD offline Channel, and CM&EE.

We offer dedicated support to the candidate through a professional reporting line to the Global Offline Channels head and a managerial reporting line to the Area SBD lead, ensuring dual coaching. As part of the area team, you will seamlessly integrate and establish strong connections in important areas such as pricing and e-commerce. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to engage with senior professionals in the market, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to achieving strategic objectives.

Who we are looking for:

Thanks to your extensive background, you will bring 7+ years of experience in Sales, Trade Marketing, and/or Business Development. Your expertise should specifically include a track record in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, demonstrating a nuanced understanding of both Modern and Traditional Trade dynamics. Your success in this position will hinge on your adept relational skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse cultures and stakeholders across different levels. Furthermore, your analytical mindset will be an asset in navigating the complexities of the role.

Your proficiency in IT skills, particularly in MS Office with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel, will contribute to the efficient execution of tasks. Fluency in English is a prerequisite for the role, and any additional language proficiency would be considered an advantageous attribute, enhancing your ability to engage with a broader spectrum of stakeholders.
