About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Eat Natural's Halstead Plant as a Warehouse Operative (FLD). In this role, you will play a crucial part in the smooth running of our warehouse operations. Your main responsibilities will include efficiently picking goods for the production line, repalletising items, and preparing goods for the following day's production. You'll need to have a keen eye for detail and be able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Collaboration with the Warehouse Manager and Production team will be essential to ensure seamless coordination of activities.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Operative (FLD) at Eat Natural's Halstead Plant, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient picking of goods for the production line, repalletising items, and preparing goods for the following day's production. You will conduct regular stocktaking activities to maintain precise inventory levels and accurately select goods for production according to specifications. Safely and efficiently handling manual lifting tasks is crucial, as is the use of handheld scanners to accurately pick pallets. Immediate reporting of any discrepancies or issues for prompt resolution is essential to prevent line stoppages. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and Production team to coordinate activities and maintain a tidy and organised work environment. Operating vehicles such as Forklift Counterbalance and Reach Truck to move and handle goods is also part of your role. Attendance at necessary training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in warehouse operations is expected, along with the prompt reporting of any noticed machinery faults or health & safety concerns for timely resolution.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively. You should be numerate, detail-oriented, and possess a high level of accuracy. Experience in food safety and health & safety awareness is desirable. Flexibility, good timekeeping, and a valid UK driving licence alongside Counterbalance and Reach truck certificates are essential. This is a day shift position with usual working hours from 7:30 am to 16:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
