About the role:

For our plant based in Arlon in Belgium, we are looking for a Technical Procurement Manager for our Technical Procurement Team. In this position, you will manage the overall governance of the Technical Procurement team, collaborating in the definition of the strategy and managing the budget for relative purchasing category, according to medium and long-term group strategies.  

By covering this role, you will report directly to the Area Europe Technical Procurement Manager and Regional Procurement Manager  , and be part of the Plant LeadershipTeam and this will provide you with high exposure to the full Procurement function of the Group and continuous engagement with the different departments of the plant.
 

Main responsabilities :

You ensure the strategy implementation in alignment with medium and long-term Group strategies and responding to the business needs.


You manage and coordinate internal relations with the different actors of the process in the optimization perspective of the value chain. 

You will perform market analyses for the Region, in order to constantly monitor the market and provide the management with updated specific analyses.


You will manage procurement activities (i.e. tender, negotiation, price list,  etc.), ensuring product and service availability with agreed quality and service levels while optimizing value for Ferrero and applying the internal methodologies, procedures and tools.

You will collaborate on input for savings/ improvements and ensuring Capex and Opex budget and timing.

You will analyze the relative market, identifying suppliers that are potentially suitable to Ferrero Group requirements in terms of quality and innovation. On top of this, you will conduct negotiation with suppliers in alignment with internal procedures and Ferrero Code of Business Conduct.
Moreover, you will define contracts that minimize TCO and meet qualitative, quantitative, timing and service level standards. You will also verify compliance of contracts and master agreements (terms, technical features, secrecy conditions, intellectual property, etc.)


In term of risks management, you will contribute to the risk profile, monitor and reduce risks through the implementation of specific actions / plans.
You will also maintain, consolidate, and improve the relationships with existing suppliers, to ensure continuity, manage criticalities and strengthen common objectives. On top of this you will monitor suppliers performances (through specific KPIs), comparing with external and internal benchmark, in order to ensure supply reliability, meet quality, quantity and time objectives, identify possible corrections and involve suppliers in critical situations.


In addition to that, you will be accountable for managing the people assigned, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, diversity & inclusion, competence development and empowerment. You will also be in charge of guaranteeing Human Resources professional development, evaluating the people and proposing development initiatives.
 

Who we are looking for:

You will bring your educational background in Economics, Engineering or Mathematics with around 7 years’ experience in procurement area. Previous experience in food/FMCG industry sector is considered as a plus

You are showing excellent analytical, stakeholders management and communication skills while demonstrating flexibility and the ability to jump and develop different topics.  

On top of that, you will bring your knowledge in French and English, and any other language is a plus.
